Etang Romain is an extremely pretty 200 + year old lake of 2 acres that is fed only by its own natural sources of spring water which gives the lake a constant turnover of mineral rich oxygenated water that keeps the fish fighting fit and extremely healthy and most importantly happy as a happy fish is a feeding fish.

The lake is set in beautiful garden style grounds with views of open french countryside all around, the depth of the lake varies from 3ft to 7.5 feet with lots of features, from overhanging trees and beautiful flowering lilies to nice steep margins (3 feet deep less than one foot from the bank)

The lake is heavily stocked with more than 300 mirror, common, leather and grass carp as well as pike zander and perch. With the lake being 2 acres in size you are never going to be more than 100 meters away from fish well over 30lb.

And with the level of stock that is being introduced to complement the existing stock this is going to make a superb runs water.
